Remember when I wrote about how the Hoberg's Resort had been purchased and was being restored? Well last weekend we attended a Halloween party put on by the new owner. He went over the plans for the resort and everything seems really amazing. I hope all goes according to plan and that they can open next summer. They plan on having music and film festivles as well as all your normal mountain like activites. The owner is in the movie business and hopes to film movies here as well!

If the buildings could talk, imagine the tales they would tell..I hope I get a chance to see this property one day.
Here it is September, 2012, and we still are seeing little movement with any development at the resort. Hope they are not taking development monies from individuals for things promises that they will not be keeping...
I was conceived at Hobergs and raised there. Interesting stories, indeed. For a kid, it was like The Shining.
