Yesterday we made our way out to the speedway to watch the boat races. I've never been before, but have been dying to experience this amazing event. They started with the regular car races. Well, not really regular... They watered down the track so that the cars would fly all over the place. Probably not the safest thing, but fun to watch.
They also put pumpkins at the starting line.
Two hours later it was time for the real fun to start. They soaked the track again and then placed old boats all over the place. You know, for extra destruction.
And they're off...
Total mayhem. It was like the demolition derby on steroids.

'It's so wrong, it's right!' I almost wet my britches just viewing this. These folks really know how to live it up.
